GCASH, Globe’s flagship M-Commerce service, was born from a simple goal of transforming a mobile phone into a wallet. With its launch in October 2004, GCASH has effectively given Globe and TM subscribers access to a cashless and cardless method of facilitating money remittance, donations, loan settlement, disbursement of salaries or commissions, and payment of bills, products and services, with just a text message.

GCASH requires only a mobile phone and a one-time registration, with a minimal charge of P1.00 per GCASH transaction. GCASH dramatically expands the menu of mobile commerce transactions, and has provided the low income economic class and overseas workers access to the relevant services below:

International Franchising Information
McDonald's does business in 118 countries around the world. Financial Requirements/Down Payment

An initial down payment is required when you purchase a new restaurant (40% of the total cost) or an existing restaurant (25% of the total cost). The down payment must come from non-borrowed personal resources, which include cash on hand; securities, bonds, and debentures; vested profit sharing (net of taxes); and business or real estate equity, exclusive of your personal residence.

Since the total cost varies from restaurant to restaurant, the minimum amount for a down payment will vary. Generally, we require a minimum of $300,000 of non-borrowed personal resources to consider you for a franchise. Individuals with additional funds may be better prepared for additional or multi-restaurant opportunities.

Financing

We require that the buyer pay a minimum of 25% cash as a down payment toward the purchase of a restaurant. The remaining balance of the purchase price may be financed for a period of no more than seven years. While McDonald’s does not offer financing, McDonald’s Owner/Operators enjoy the benefits of our established relationships with many national lending institutions. We believe our Owner/Operators enjoy the lowest lending rates in the industry.

Ongoing Fees

During the term of the franchise, you pay McDonald’s the following fees:

• Service fee: a monthly fee based upon the restaurant’s sales performance (currently a service fee of 4.0% of monthly sales).


• Rent: a monthly base rent or percentage rent that is a percentage of monthly sales.

1. Don't tell anybody your company's Personal Identification Number (PIN).
2. Limit the unnecessary use of internet during office hours.
3. Viewing of pornographic sites while inside the company is strictly prohibited.
4. Reply to e-mail ASAP. It's very frustrating for people or clients to try to contact you when you don't reply! When you receive e-mail make a reply, send the graphic, report, information, or whatever ASAP.
5. Do not spread false e-gossip. Never, ever forward an e-mail warning before first checking it out to see if it is a prank.
6. Remember the Golden Rule.

Post #4: If you are just a student of RMMC and not currently working, cite a manual procedure here in our school which you prefer to computerize.

The safety of the students and the employees must be the first priority and the main concern of the school management. Putting and assigning security guards most especially in entry points, is not enough to insure the safety of the campus. Identification Card barcode swiping is commonly used in schools, companies and other huge establishment with huge workers today. but still it doesn't give 100% assurance to thye safety of the campus because it (I.D. card) may lost or steal by anyone and use it. I will suggest the use of thumbmark recognition from the entry point to the exit points of the area. It will also be used to access the library, paying fees, etc. or may help every professors check it's student attendance or the employee's log ins and outs. Every person has a different thumbmarks. It is impossible to duplicate anyone's finger prints. It will protect the campus from the outsiders or to anyone not connected with the school. It will also protect the privacy of every students and employees to an unauthorized use of their identity.

MIS TRENDS

1. MIS users are more knowledgeable.

Comparing to human, MIS is more knowledgeable. It always provide fast and efficient output, and it is updated of what is new in the system.

2. More computing power is available to the user.

MIS provide the easiest and correct computations as long as the system encoded and formulated well.

3. Resistance to the implementation of emerging MIS is subsiding.

MIS is a great help in one company especially with managers. It makes the work easier, faster and more productive. But sometimes, it is a big treat to human. It lessen the man power that leads to high unemployment rate.

4. Connectivity.

It provides connections from one location to another. It is mostly useful in huge companies that have branches. It saves time and effort, and lessen the expenses.

5. MIS is becoming one of the increasing productivity.

Using MIS, productivity of one company obviously increases. It provides fast, high-quality and excellent outcome of the products.

6. Companies are using MIS as a competitive strategy.

Having a profitable company, it should be globally competitive. The company must be updated of what is new to enhance its productivity.

7. MIS is becoming integral to the decision-making process.

In decision-making process, MIS provides the easiest and a well-organized process.

8. The end user is becoming the focus of MIS activity.

MIS must always be updated to provide latest and excellent jobs.
